I enjoyed snapping some photos at Chris & Shannon's wedding this weekend. Beautiful outdoor wedding surrounding by flower gardens, mountains and all the green/lavender wedding flare. Everyone had a great time and several of my family members were all a part of this wedding. Fun! Fun! See more Bertram Wedding Photos on my website at http://www.photographybyheatherparmley.com/

SENIOR PORTRAITS - James

My first 2010 Senior Portrait Session. Taken at Pall Mall, Tn. and my house of James, a Wayne County High School senior. He was a great sport with posing especially for a guy. My senior prices are the same as with any session. $125 and you get all enhanced photos including collages on a cd. You take the cd with unproofed images and do as you wish (print, facebook, myspace or upload anywhere). No need to order from me. Enjoy viewing James's photos on my website as well as other senior portraits from '08 & '09. Until next time take care and enjoy the summer.

My Alaskan photos are on my website. To the right is a beautiful Polar Bear that I captured at the Alaska Zoo. He made the front cover of my memory book that expected to arrive anyday now. Hope you enjoy the photos that I've uploaded on www.photographybyheatherparmley.com

I'm blogging from Anchorage, Alaska. It's so beautiful here. The weather has been great, averaging 70 degrees everyday. The scenery is breathtaking and it has been worth the 4,100 mile trip here. I've discovered I'm not a flyer and dread the last 2 of 5 planes back home to Kentucky. My family here in Anchorage have been a blast and so great to have taken us to some great places like Mt. McKinley, Talkeetna, Wasilla, Exit Glacier, Portage Glacier, Alaska Zoo, Ice Hockey (Aces vs. Stingrays & Governor Sarah Palin and family was there), Arts & Crafts Festival in Anchorage and treated us with the best hospitality anyone could ask for. My mother and my grandmother are having a good time as well. This place is every photographer's dream for taking snowcapped mountains scenery and seeing some Alaskan natives and Alaskan flare. I saw a moose for the first time and other animals like Polar Bears, Arctic Fox and more. I can't wait to see my husband and kids Wednesday night. I wish everyone could come here and see this near out of country experience. I will try to have some of my photos online within a week or two. I plan on making a photobook and relate the stories with the picture.

BLAKE & KYRA

These are my beautiful children. I talked them into modeling for me today in the backyard and nearby farm. I think they are the best kids in the world and photogenic at that. I've uploaded a whole album on my website of this session.

MAY - Featured Photo

Enjoy the Spring Tulip photo that I took last year. This photo was recenty selected by the Kentucky Bankers Association judging panel of over 300 entries to be placed on front/back cover of the 2010 Kentucky Banker's Association Calendar that is expected to reach hundreds of calendar owners next year through various banking companies, family and friends across Kentucky and beyond. I feel very blessed that people find my photography enjoyable. This is the same photo that was featured in the Wayne County Outlook Special Edition Newspaper last year as well. Hope you enjoy it.

Here is the link to the new 2010 calendar layout: http://www.kybanks.com/uploads/pdf/pskycalendar2010.pdf

P.S. Check back in the next few weeks here for my Alaskan trip photos. Until next time enjoy this Spring.

APRIL 2009 - The Lil' Robins

It's Spring! I'm so glad to see the weather warming up in beautiful Kentucky. I wanted to share a recent photo of these little birds in my apple tree just being born. Without touching them I captured their delicate moment. I just had to share. My kids think I'm crazy, lol. Until next time have a great Spring. http://www.photographybyheatherparmley.com/

Thought I would share a couple of photos I did yesterday of my daughter and niece - 2 very important girls in my life. Just ordered 2 huge prints of these and can't wait to get them. Ross and I are working hard in the recording studio and we hope to get our cd out before Fall 2009. It's hard finding the time and energy between full time jobs, kids, church and everything else. Continue to pray for us! Heather www.photographybyheatherparmley.com

Baby Brayden

I just finished one of my favorite sessions - newborn with baby boy Brayden. He's sure a cutie and hair that really makes for a pretty picture. It's amazing how time flies and one day you're holding them in your arm and then before you know it they're in high school. God gives us blessings and babies are one of them we should enjoy every moment. Until next time take care. http://www.photographybyheatherparmley.com/

Okay I'm trying to keep up with the latest networking trends by blogging but don't know how often I can blog, lol. I figured it's a carefree additional link to a professional website or anyone who wants to blog in general. I thought I would first show you the "LONELY GREYHOUND" to the right that won me a $50 gift card at Alabaster Box earlier in this winter season through a photo contest through Somerset Community College. My husband eyed this character on a side street in Monticello while we were out sight seeing. I took this photo in winter of 2007 actually but I kept it in my computer folder just because I liked it. Imagine its days and when the wheels went round and round and all the conversations that took place and places this bus might have went to possibly in big cities. This bus says alot about time and how it keeps on passing by. Hope you enjoy me blogging and rambling. Check back monthly as I try to keep blogging. Happy Blog everyone! Heather
